- Move your character off the visible area of the page.
- Repeat steps 4 through 8 for all additional glyph slots to add each character.
- To fill empty character slots, choose an appropriate character and use the Missing Glyph: From selection button to automatically fill the gaps.
- To remove any empty glyph slots, right-click on the glyph number and select remove.
- Rename your font by double-clicking the default font name in the SVG Font Editor and entering your chosen name.
- Double-click in the Family Name box under Global Settings to assign a family name, generally the same as the font name.
- Optionally, open the XML Editor to change the internal font name for better compatibility with certain software.
- Save your work, ensuring it saves as a standard SVG file.
- Visit an online font conversion tool, select the SVG file you created, and opt to convert it to .ttf format.
- Execute the conversion process and wait for the resulting zipped file to download.
