Broken Arrow Public Schools Board of Education approved the 2022-23 Instructional Calendar (pdf) at its regularly scheduled meeting on March 7. Students in grades K-12 will return for their first day of school on Wednesday, Aug. 24.

To request a transfer, simply complete the Oklahoma Student Open Transfer Application on the State Department of Education website (to be available by January 1, 2022). Individuals without access to the internet may obtain the form from the local school district of residency or on the Student Transfers Page.

For issuing a transfer certificate, you will have to write a school transfer application addressing the principal of your school and stating the reason behind leaving the school. The documents required are the admission letter from the current school and the admission acceptance letter from the new school or branch.
