A Letter of Permission is a special permit that allows someone to teach without a certificate in a particular school district, independent school authority or for a First Nations Council for up to one school year. It is only to be used when a certified teacher is not available to fill a vacant position.

A Letter of Permission (LOP) allows students to complete a course(s) at an accredited international university with which Carleton does not have a pre-arranged exchange agreement.

You will receive an admission decision within four to six weeks upon review of your most recent grades and/or the result of your Academic Performance Evaluation. If you are admitted, you can view your full offer package through Carleton 360 by clicking on the View Offer Details link on the application page.

A Certificate of Enrolment is used to verify your enrolment at Carleton University. Submit requests online through Carleton Central by selecting the “Certificate of Enrolment Request”. If you do not have access to Carleton Central you may submit a manual request by contacting the Registrar's Office.

You will need course descriptions for each course you wish to take.
