- Complete the Verification Form, including your name and your spouse’s name. Do not fill in the Civil Action File No. This form must be notarized; seek a notary public to sign it.
- Attach any additional required court documents such as Service/Venue Forms and, if applying for alimony, financial documents as specified in the guidelines.
- File your completed documents with the Clerk of the Court. A filing fee of $205.00 is required at this stage.
- Contact the judge’s secretary to schedule a hearing date, which must be at least 31 days after the divorce is filed.
