If the Responsible Person chooses to contest the Administrative Citation, the Responsible Person shall submit to the City Attorney a request to do so on an official form provided by the City no later than twenty (20) calendar days after the notice of the Administrative Violation is sent to the Responsible Person.

If you don't agree with the ALJ's decision, you may appeal it to the CUIAB Appeal Board with a simple letter at no cost to you, but you have to mail it or deliver it in person to the local CUIAB office no later than 20 days from the mailing date stamped at the bottom of the decision.

The hearing officer shall within ten days issue a written administrative decision entitled “administrative citation order” to uphold or cancel the administrative citation, as to each violation, and shall list in the ruling the reasons for that decision.
