An overwhelming majority — 94% — of public schools surveyed reported they are providing digital devices, such as laptops or tablets, to students who need them for the 2022–23 school year. Just 4% of respondents said they were not providing digital devices this school year.

The percentages of teachers using ICT in the classroom was 52.5%, which means about half of teachers integrated ICT in classroom for their teaching and learning process. However, this also brought another meaning that 47.5% of teachers did not integrate ICT in their teaching and learning process.

About one-third say their classrooms are equipped with devices and 23% say they use their own personal device. There is some variability across student groups who say they are given their own device to use at school.

In general, 95% of 3- to 18-year-olds had access to the internet, 88% through a computer, and 6% through a smartphone, ing to the American Community Survey.
