Transcripts must be sent directly from the college/university registrar OR sent electronically from services such as eSCRIP-SAFE, Parchment, and National Student Clearinghouse. (Current/Former FIT students need not request academic transcripts from FIT; these will be supplied by internal procedures.)

You must ensure that you also include the transcript legend (back page in most cases). You will want to be certain that your document is saved as a PDF file and that its size is less than 10MB. Scanning in “grayscale” or black and white may produce the best results.

I applied to FIT in April of my entry year and received an acceptance letter approximately 4 weeks later to begin in the fall. As a result, I would say the process was rather quick. Given my experience, the average wait time is between 4–6 weeks. I hope this helps!
