plural proctors. : someone who supervises or monitors students: US : someone who oversees student examinations. The primary job of the proctor is to monitor students to ensure they're following testing room rules and not sharing answers.

The proctor will verify a student's identity by checking a photo ID and will ensure academic integrity guidelines during exams are followed (e.g., no notes, textbooks, outside assistance, etc.).

On the day of the exam, you will log into your Meazure Learning account, then connect with your Examity proctor to complete a security check and take your exam. Your results will be posted within 7-10 business days from the date you complete your exam.

To obtain an Appraisal license or upgrade to a higher license level you are required to take and pass a proctored final examination. A proctor is a qualified person that administers an exam and upholds the integrity of the exam-taking process.

Exam results will be available within 7-10 business days of completing the exam. Results will show in the member area under MyAAPC>Exams in the exam details.

The in-person exams are proctored by chapter officers as a service to the AAPC. The proctors don't get paid. (AAPC gives a nominal amount to the chapter for hosting an exam, but the proctors don't get paid.)

Education: Most employers require a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. However, some prefer proctors to have a bachelor's degree, usually in education, human resources management or a field related to the exam. Experience: For some major exams, employers prefer proctors to have monitored tests before.

The proctor training is designed to ensure that the individuals administering the tests are trained in the proper security and/or administration procedures for the respective tests.
