Students must contact the Student Support Centre by sending the request for cancellation/discontinuation of study to StudentAdmin@ufs.ac.za. Requests must NOT be submitted to lecturers or any other faculty staff members.

A certified copy of your South African ID document or passport (for foreign applicants) Certified copies of all previous qualification certificates* Certified copies of all previous academic transcripts.

Application outcomes will only be communicated to you from 1 September 2022. If you have not received communication by that time, please do not apply again, it will only delay the process. We will communicate with you once we are done with your application.

STEP 1: Log in with your student number and password on the Oracle PeopleSoft system . STEP 2: Click on the My Education Plan tile on the UFS Student Homepage. STEP 4: Select the Add/Change Courses button on the page. STEP 5: Select the Course (modules) you wish to add or remove.

Change of Qualification. A prospective and/or existing student who wants to change a qualification must complete a DV2 or DV3 form and personally see to it that the necessary approval of the programme director and qualification code, as required on the DV form is obtained.

If you have been excluded and failed to submit your appeal application, or if your appeal was denied by both the RAC and the URRT, you will remain academically excluded. You can then only reapply to UFS for admission after a period of 12 months, but not more than 24 months.
