A Land Use Permit is a verification of zoning standards for building permit, business licenses etc. The Land Use Permit indicates zoning setback requirements and conditions that may be associated with the use. A Land Use Permit is required prior to a Building Permit being issued.

What is a use permit? A Conditional Use Permit or Minor Use Permit is a discretionary action that enables the County to ensure that a proposed use is consistent with all General Plan goals and policies and will not create negative impacts on adjacent properties or the general public.
