What is the Multiple Offender Program (MOP)? The Multiple Offender Program is a treatment program for habitual alcohol and drug abusers. An intensive 7-day, 6-night residential program, it is required by the state for multiple offenders of DWI/DUI. It is possible for a therapist or counselor to recommend a longer stay.

For any DWI conviction, you will have to complete a state-approved DWI education program of a minimum of twenty hours in length prior to restoration of your license. A 2nd offense DUI/DWI conviction mandates a seven-day residential treatment program.

An approved drivers ed program in New Hampshire consists of the following: 30 hours of classroom instruction with a certified driving instructor. 6 hours of driving observation with a certified driving instructor. 10 hours of behind-the-wheel practice with a certified driving instructor.

If you have been convicted of DWI-1st offense in New Hampshire, and have no other DWI convictions in the past ten (10) years, you will be required to complete the Impaired Driver Intervention Program (IDIP). The IDIP Program is a twenty (20) hour course which costs approximately $600.

New Hampshire DWI Penalties Mandatory minimum license loss of 9 months, which may be reduced to as little as ninety days based on conditions. Maximum license loss is two years.

The State of New Hampshire does not currently accept online classes for DWI offenses. If you are non-resident of the state and received a DWI in New Hampshire you must get approval for out of state DWI classes from the court or agency that requires the class.

The state of New York must certify the course provider. DDS will not accept online courses. You may take various courses to accumulate the hours. You must get a certificate of completion on an approved school/agency letterhead.
