The minimum passing grade in a graduate course is a C. Students need a B or better average In order to graduate with a master's degree at CUNY, and must maintain a B or better average every semester attending.

CUNY participates in the Direct Loan Program where students borrow directly from the federal government. If you have financial need you are eligible for a subsidized Direct Loan and there is no interest charged as long as you maintain half-time (6 credits) enrollment in school.

College Now Program Grading Policy Effective Fall 2021 Lower passing grades such as C-, D+, D and D- will automatically convert to the grade of CR (credit) and the F, WD, WU, W, WN grade will convert to NC (No Credit).
