It is unlawful to serve or sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 21. Admittance to establishments that serve alcohol is a decision left up to the establishment. However, if an establishment limits access only to those 21 or older, the policy must be uniformly enforced.

(A) Deliver wine/beer pursuant to an invoice that includes the name of the licensee and the name and address of the purchaser. (B) Require valid form of photographic identification from a recipient who appears to be under the age of 30, on delivery.

No more than 2 alcoholic beverages are permitted per person per order. A serving size of spirituous liquor or spirits-based drink may not contain more than 4 fluid ounces of spirits. A serving size of malt beverage may not contain more than 32 ounces.

A First Class License allows an establishment to serve beer and wine. Establishments that intend to serve spirits must also apply for a Third Class License. Only the First Class License must be approved by the locality before application can be made to the Department of Liquor Control.

Training in the state is available in three (3) ways. Classroom seminars conducted by the state Department of Liquor Control (DLC) educators. DLC online seminar. Through a director/partner/owner/manager who has already been to a seminar or has taken the DLC online training (using materials provided by the DLC)
