- In the Tuition and Education Amounts section, enter applicable amounts based on your enrollment status and tuition fees. Full-time and part-time students have different calculations.
- If claiming the Disability Amount, enter $7,341 if you have submitted Form T2201.
- For the Spouse or Common-law Partner Amount, enter $8,481 if supporting a partner with a net income of $848 or less.
- If you have a dependent relative living with you with an income under $848, enter $8,481 in the Amount for an Eligible Dependant section.
- Complete the Caregiver Amount section if applicable, entering $4,898 based on the dependant’s income.
- For the Amount for Infirm Dependants Age 18 or Older section, enter $2,798 if the relative's income qualifies.
- In the remaining sections, enter any amounts that can be transferred from your spouse, partner, or dependants.
- Calculate the total claim amount by adding the amounts from lines 1 through 11. This total will be used for determining your provincial tax deductions.
