- Click the 'SEARCH' button after entering the required information. If this is a new case and the child's information is not listed, you will be taken to the Child page to start entering data.
- On the Child page, enter the necessary information and validate the page to check for errors.
- Proceed to the Mother/Parent page to enter information about the mother/parent, including verifying the current legal name if applicable.
- On the Mother/Parent Address page, if the usual residence and mailing addresses are the same, use the 'Same As Residence Address' checkbox.
- Continue to the Mother/Parent Attributes page, select ancestry options, and validate the page.
- Follow similar steps to enter information for the Father/Parent and validate the required pages.
- Fill in the place of birth information, which the system typically auto-fills based on your user profile. Make any necessary changes.
- Enter relevant information on the prenatal, pregnancy factors, labor, and delivery pages, validating each page accordingly.
- Complete the newborn and admissions/discharges sections, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
- On the attendant/certifier page, select the appropriate certifier from the lookup menu and validate the page.
- To finalize, you must certify the birth case by checking the affirmation box and using the biometric device to complete the certification.
- After certification, review the case status and note that no further edits can be made. You can now choose to logout or start a new case.
