(a) In order to qualify for SCRIE benefits the applicant must be 62 years of age or older. In order to qualify for DRIE benefits the applicant must be a person with a disability who is 18 years of age or older.

Specifically, the NYC Rent Guideline Board limits how much a landlord may increase your rent each year.
