  11. Submit annual reports to the Initial Accreditation Committee, providing updates on your implementation of the Accreditation Plan.
  12. When ready to apply for Initial Accreditation, submit your application to AACSB. The Initial Accreditation Committee will then appoint a team Chair to assist you.
  13. Prepare a Self-Evaluation Report in cooperation with the appointed Chair and refine your Strategic Plan.
  14. Select a peer review team in collaboration with your Chair and the Initial Accreditation Committee. This team will assess your Self-Evaluation Report and annual reports.
  15. The peer review team will submit a previsit letter to you at least 45 days prior to their visit.
  16. Participate in the scheduled visit and await the peer review team's report with their recommendations.
  17. You may respond to the peer review team's report, though this is optional.
  18. The Initial Accreditation Committee will evaluate the peer review team report and decide whether to concur or send it back for revisions.
  19. Once reviewed, the Initial Accreditation Committee will forward their recommendations to the AACSB Board for ratification.
  20. Finally, if ratified by the Board, your institution will be accredited for six years, with a maintenance visit scheduled for year five.
  21. Upon completion, save your changes, and consider downloading, printing, or sharing your filled form as necessary.
