Ultra® Penetrating NGR Stains are best spray applied at 30-40 p.s.i. Apply in light coats until the desired color is achieved. Each pass will increase color strength. Ultra® Penetrating Stains may be reduced with Ultra® Penetrating Stain Reducer or Acetone for improved control.

Solar Lux NGR Dye Stain is an alcohol based dye. Most water based stains produce a lovely color, but they also raise the wood's grain. NGR stands for Non Grain Raising. The pigments in the dye are so tiny that they are absorbed into the wood and become a part of it. Dyes soak into the wood and stains lay on top.

Gemini NGR dye concentrates are available in eight rich primary colors that are then inter-mixable into a dozen popular secondary colors. All NGR dyes are packaged in liquid form and most contain methanol and sometimes other toxic solvents. No pigment or binder is included. Some NGR dyes are packaged in concentrated form and can be thinned with water, alcohol or lacquer thinner.

Directions: NGR DYE Stain may be brushed, wiped or spray-applied (using low psi spray pressure). Intermix NGR Dye colors to arrive at required custom tones. To make a lighter color tone or reduce the color intensity add NGR Reducer as needed.
