This version of the IGETC is only applicable to students who began attending a California Community. IGETC is usually recommended for students who intend to transfer to a UC campus, or who are not yet sure of their intended transfer university. Students must meet with a counselor to request the IGETC Certification. IGETC - Three courses, a minimum of 9 semester units or 12 quarter units. At least one course from 3A and one course from 3B.
