Belmont is test optional for Fall 2023 applicants. The only required recommendation form must come from the applicant's school counselor. This may be submitted via any of our delivery methods listed above.

Full time enrollment for undergraduates is minimum of 12 credit hours. Graduates may refer to their academic program for minimum required hours for full time enrollment.

Complete the change of major form. If you are only changing your degree, minor or emphasis, signature from your current academic department is required. Requests to change or add a major should be signed by an academic program representative of the new major. Return the form to Belmont Central.

Official transcripts showing all collegiate work should be sent to: Belmont University Office of Admissions, 1900 Belmont Blvd, Nashville TN 37212-3757. Official electronic transcripts can be accepted, and must be sent through a secure third party (i.e. Student Clearinghouse, or Parchment).

Does Belmont accept superscoring on the ACT or SAT? Yes, if you choose to apply with test scores, we will accept the ACT and SAT superscore. Who should I talk to if I have more questions?

between 3.50 and 3.749 are graduated Cum laude (with honors). Students who earn a G.P.A. between 3.75 and 3.949, are graduated Magna cum laude (with high honors).
