  5. Sign and date the application to acknowledge that you understand the terms of the tuition benefits. Make sure to keep a copy of the completed application for your records.
  6. Submit the completed application (and tax exemption form if applicable) to your supervisor or department head for their review and signature.
  7. Once your supervisor or department head has signed and dated the application, return it to the Office of Total Rewards. It is advisable to submit the application before the course start date. Completed applications must be received within 30 days after the course begins.
  8. Allow the Office of Total Rewards two weeks to process your application. Upon confirmation of eligibility, they will notify the Bursar’s Office regarding the tuition waiver.
  9. Once you have successfully completed the course(s), the Bursar’s Office will post the actual tuition credit to your student account.
  10. For any taxable tuition benefits, the applicable taxes will be deducted from your paycheck as approved by the Office of Total Rewards.
