Where Can I Find My HUD-1 Settlement Statement? If your loan hasn't closed yet, you can get your HUD-1 from your lender. If you've already closed, you should be able to find your HUD-1 settlement statement with your closing documents.

HUD-1 settlement statement vs. In the past, most borrowers received a HUD-1 settlement statement before closing. However, since October 2015, the majority of mortgage borrowers now receive closing disclosures rather than settlement statements.

If you don't have the HUD-1 you were provided at the closing when you originally purchaed it, the lender will have a copy of the HUD-1. Sometimes your local jurisdiction where the sale/purchase was recorded will have a copy too. Expect to pay a fee.

A HUD-1 form is most commonly used for reverse mortgages and mortgage refinance transactions. Now, for most kinds of mortgage loans, borrowers receive a form called the Closing Disclosure instead of a HUD-1 form.
