While you can't earn your GED® online in New Hampshire, GED.com makes it easy to find GED® classes and testing centers in your area.

If you're at least 16, you may qualify for the GED® exam if you submit a permission form with parental consent and approval from your local school district. You do not have to be an official resident of New Mexico to take the GED® test.

It may take up to 3 months to receive your official certificate from our office due to the volume of test takers in New Hampshire. If you need verification of completion and/or an official transcript before receiving your certificate, please see instructions below.

New Hampshire Eligibility Requirements Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to take the HiSET exam. For exceptions to this requirement, review additional policies listed on the New Hampshire Adult Education site. The HiSET Test at Home option is not available to anyone under the age of 18.

New Hampshire GED and HiSET Requirements Age: You must be 18 years old or older, however, if you are 16 or older you can take the test if enrolled in a New Hampshire Option Program for In School Youth. You may take the test if you are exempted from the school district where you live, married, or legally emancipated.

The exams are equally as challenging; however, many say they feel that the math portion of the HiSET exam is less complicated than the GED math portion. Both are available in English and Spanish; if you pass, both exams will lead to your state's high school equivalency certificate.
