Add Field Settings Electronic Documents For Free

Note: If you cannot add fields to the documents and templates you create, this is most likely because of your user permission profile. Contact your administrator and ask to adjust your permission settings. These settings are documented in the Permission Profiles guide.

Click the File tab. Click Info to view the document properties. To add or change properties, hover your pointer over the property you want to update and enter the information. Note that for some metadata, such as Author, you'll have to right-click on the property and choose Remove or Edit.

ESignature will automatically convert any form into a PDF. If your form already has fields, eSignature changes them to digital fillable fields; if your form does not have any fields, manually add them now. Add comments, drag and drop customized tags, then add your signature.

To add fields to a document: Start an envelope and add documents and recipients. Select NEXT at the bottom. In the recipient list at the top, select a person to add fields for. In the page guide on the right, select a page you want to tag with fields.

Create Custom Fields for Documents From the Accounts view, select Document Custom Fields. Select Add Document Field. Enter a name for the custom field. Select the type of field you want to create from the Type menu, for example, Date Signed, Drop Down or Radio Button. Select Save to save your custom field.

You can save any document you have sent or drafted as a template. Everything you added to the original document is included in the template. Save as Template provides a quick way to make a template from an envelope you've already prepared. You can save any envelope you sent or drafted as a template.

Ctrl + F9 enters a blank field. Alt + F9 toggles all the fields in the document. Shift + F9 toggles the selected field.

After making necessary changes, select the SAVE ALL CHANGES to save changes to the Labels panel. The page refreshes; a message briefly displays indicating All changes saved. Select the Close icon, located in the top-right corner of the Document Detail view, to close the contract and return to the Search Results table.
