To choose your advanced Word options, select File > Options, and on the left pane, select Advanced. Set up the way you select, replace, and format words and paragraphs.

Templates are files that help you design interesting, compelling, and professional-looking documents. They contain content and design elements that you can use as a starting point when creating a document. All the formatting is complete; you add what you want to them. Examples are resumes, invitations, and newsletters.

Inserting Content Fields in a Document/Template Open or create a Word document from the matter. From the LEAP ribbon, click Editing > Insert Fields. A list of available fields will display on the right-hand side of the document. Make sure you're on the Matter Fields tab.

On the right side of the “Info” screen, click “Properties” and select “Advanced Properties” from the drop-down list. Create a Form Place the text cursor where you want to insert the form field. Click the Developer tab on the ribbon. Click the Design Mode button in the controls group. Click a Content Control buttons to insert the selected type of control. When you're done, click the Design Mode button again to exit Design Mode.
