Waiver order puts a temporary lock on a player not yet claimed.The waiver order remains for a certain period until at the end of the period when all claims are actioned and the Fantasy Football manager with the highest priority waiver order claims the player. The waivers clear at 3 PM ET.

The highest priority fantasy football managers have their waiver order processed first. The priority is based on the league position. The league draft determines the initial position. Live drafts give priority as per the inverted order of the draft.

The waiver priority is reset every week based on the standings. Lower-placed teams in the current standings will get the highest waiver priority at the beginning of each NFL week.

When more than one team requests a player in waivers, the player is awarded to the team with the best waiver position (closer to 1). When a claim is resolved, the waiver position for the team that receives the player is changed to the lowest possible priority (10), and all the other teams move up a position.
