A Contract Postal Unit (CPU) is a supplier-owned or supplier-leased site operated by the supplier, under contract to the Postal Service? to provide postal products and services to the public at U.S. Postal Service prices.

A Contract Postal Unit (CPU) is a Postal Service retail unit located inside a private business and operated by nonpostal employees. CPU suppliers operate under either a firm-fixedprice or performance-based contract to provide a range of retail products and postal services.

The Approved Shipper Program is a component of the Approved Postal Provider® Program, which gives U.S. Postal Service customers expanded access to Postal Service offerings, such as mailing packages and letters, at non-postal locations.

To register your organization, visit the USPS eSourcing site. After you register your organization, the USPS will contact you with possible contract opportunities. If you win a bid on a contract, USPS will contact you with further instructions on how to proceed.
