Thesis Print For Free

Theses must be printed on plain white A4 paper. Each sheet should be single sided. Margins at the binding edge must not be under 40mm, and other margins must not be less than 20mm. Double or 1.5 spacing is to be used. You must have a title page. You must have a list of contents. You must include a 300 word abstract.

In form, the thesis is a lengthy experimental, design, or theoretical report, with a problem-method-results-discussion structure. This recurrent hypothetico-deductive pattern of developing a thesis to solve a problem and then constructing a methodology and testing for results is common in research writing.

To have your dissertation printed and bound, you can either go to a copy shop or simply order your dissertation binding online. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. One advantage of the print shop is that you can conveniently place your order from home.

Our Tip. At BachelorPrint, the 100g/m² paper is the standard paper used for thesis printing. However, if you have a bachelor's thesis, master's thesis, PhD thesis or dissertation with a very high page count, we recommend you use the 120g/mA² premium paper for thesis printing and have the paper printed on both sides.

We can print each page of your thesis single-sided or double-sided. It makes very little difference to costs but obviously single-sided makes your thesis more bulky. For example, Trinity College Dublin specifies double-sided printing.

In most cases you should look for smooth-textured paper, often referred to as smooth, bond, or "wove", when printing your thesis. Further, we only encountered one university that accepted a paper weight other than 20 lb or 24 lb paper; San Francisco State University accepts either 16 lb or 20 lb archival-quality paper.

Paper weight Standard printing paper has a weight of 75-90 gsm. For a bachelor's or master's dissertation this is fine. If you want the paper to look and feel more professional and durable, a paper weight of 100-130 gsm is better. This is often used for PhD dissertations.
