You can pin Sticky Notes to the Windows taskbar to create a new note quickly. Right-click the Sticky Notes icon in the taskbar, and then click Pin to taskbar.

Open Sticky Notes. From the list of notes, click or tap the plus icon ( + ) in the upper left. Or from the keyboard, press Ctrl+N to start a new note. To stick a note to any Microsoft word document, right-click on the note title and choose the Stick To Window option from the menu, as shown in the below picture. Alternatively, press Ctrl+W from within the sticky note.The note will stick to the particular word document.
