You earn it by completing a program of study. So, I completed my bachelor's (degree) program. I earned my bachelor's degree. I finished my program/studies/course.

The date your degree was conferred is the date you officially graduated from your degree program ? this is the date that applications often ask for. Contrary to popular belief, this isn't the date of your commencement ceremony.

Your program end date can be any business day during the year. Your degree is awarded once it has been approved by Senate. Degrees are awarded twice a year in May and November. Once your degree has been awarded notation will appear on your official transcript.

The official degree conferral date is the date that will appear on your diploma and final transcript and which we will verify as your official graduation date in any future circumstances. You are considered graduated as of that date. It has nothing to do with the date of the Commencement ceremony.

?Date conferred? and ?date completed? are two different dates referring to when your school issued your diploma and when you completed the requirements to earn said diploma. It can take a few weeks to a few months from your last exam to have your degree fully conferred.
