To edit that list, open your merge document, then click Mailings tab > Edit Recipient List.In the lower-left of the Mail Merge Recipients dialog box, in the Data Source section, click to highlight the name of the data source you want to change, then click Edit. The Edit Recipient List tool is active only if the source data file is a Word document. It does not apply to other type of data sources i.e., Excel files, Apple Contacts, Outlook, etc..
