1. Add your designation next to your name. The first area to add your designation is at the top of your resume next to your name. This shows the recruiter or hiring manager that you have the required certification for the job before they continue reading your resume.

Always include the following information: the degree you received, your major, the name of your school, its location, and your graduation year. Start with your highest educational attainment. List all other degrees in reverse-chronological order. Delete high-school education if you already graduated from college.

Start afresh. Make a great first impression. Write an opening paragraph using the new job description. Choose a mixed format. Know what to leave out from your career change CV. Highlight valuable non-work related experience. Show your value with numbers. Find natural crossovers.
