This is a question that many business reporters face when they want to capture the attention and interest of their readers. Images can be powerful tools to convey information, emotions, and actions in a report, but they need to be used strategically and appropriately.

There are two ways to organize your images: either place them in your text next to the paragraph where you discuss them (Figure 1), or put them all together at the end of the essay (Figure 2). Images always need captions. Captions should do two things; label the image and tell us the image's source.

Graphics tools such as a pie chart, or drawings and photographs can help visualize different kinds of data, and strengthen a report's narrative by illustrating the project activities or context. Images can also bridge differences in language, context and culture.

Preferably, one image or graphic after every 300-500 words. A good thing about strategically using images along with content writing is that the images give you an opportunity to use your primary and secondary keywords. You can name your images including your keywords. You can use alt text for keywords.

By the bottom right corner of the image is a three dots button. Click on that and use the Send feedback option. You can include a screenshot.

You can use the photos not only in reports, but also on websites, promotional materials, and publications without danger of copyright infringement. Once you've downloaded your photo, adding it your report in Microsoft Word is easy.
