To use a self-signed certificate as a signer certificate, distribute the self-signed certificate to all clients by extracting the certificate from the server key database and then adding the extracted certificate to the key database on each client computer.

Certificate Distribution Amount means, as of any Payment Date, the amount being distributed to the Trust Certificateholders on such Payment Date. Certificate Distribution Account shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 5.01.

In general, every user will have access to the certificates they own and also to those that are shared with them. A user with whom a certificate is shared can also export and access its private key, but only after raising a request for the same with the certificate's owner and getting approval.

The root certificate is usually made trustworthy by some mechanism other than a certificate, such as by secure physical distribution. For example, some of the best-known root certificates are distributed in operating systems by their manufacturers.
