Plan Currency Text For Free

The USD (United States dollar) is the official currency of the United States of America. The United States dollar, or U.S. dollar, is made up of 100 cents. It is represented by the symbol $ or US$ to differentiate it from other dollar-based currencies.

Select the cells that you want to format and then, in the Number group on the Home tab, click the down arrow in the Number Format box. Choose either Currency or Accounting.

United States (U.S.) currency is formatted with a decimal point (.) as a separator between the dollars and cents. Some countries use a comma (,) instead of a decimal to indicate that separation.

Tip: To quickly apply the Currency format, select the cell or range of cells that you want to format, and then press Ctrl+Shift+$. Like the Currency format, the Accounting format is used for monetary values. But, this format aligns the currency symbols and decimal points of numbers in a column.

All you need to do is follow these steps: Position the insertion point in the table cell where the number will reside. Press Ctrl+F9 to insert a pair of field braces. Type the equal sign, followed by the number (65.78). Type a space, followed by \# and another space. ... Enter the format specification, in quote marks.

To format a text field as currency Right-click Cost and select Format. The Format Objects dialog box opens. On the Number tab, select Currency from the Category list. The default settings use a dollar sign and two decimal places.
