The Dance Combine is an opportunity for dancers to get noticed and evaluated by top college coaches from across the nation.The Dance Combine simulates a collegiate tryout setting to help prepare the high school athletes for their transition to the college level.

Universal Dance Association was founded in 1980 as Universal Dance Camps. It was started as a need for educational training for what were then called drill teams. UDA actually started calling them dance teams to better promote the activity.

The College Dance Team Combine is an opportunity for high school freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors to prepare to dance at the collegiate level. Athletes will learn dance combinations and network with different college programs to prep them for tryout season!

The National Dance Alliance (NDA), originally named NCA Superstar, was established in 1999. NDA is the sister company of the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA), which was founded by Lawrence Herkimer in 1948.

UDA Regional Competitions The Universal Dance Association is proud to offer regional competitions across the nation! These events provide dance teams all of the benefits of a local competition by being close to home with low entry fees, and the experience of working with competition professionals.

Dance squads that attend a Universal Dance Association camp can nominate squad members to try out for the honor of being named a UDA All-American. When an athlete makes All-American, they are invited to perform at Special Events across the country (and world!). All-American Gear.
