Modify Advanced Field Document For Free

Advanced Format (AF) is any disk sector format used to store data on magnetic disks in hard disk drives (HDDs) that exceeds 512, 520, or 528 bytes per sector, such as the 4096, 4112, 4160, and 4224-byte (4 KB) sectors of an Advanced Format Drive (AFD).

Click the Insert tab in the Ribbon and then click Quick Parts in the Text group. Select Field. In the list of Field names on the left, select DocProperty. Under Field properties, select a property name. To view the codes for a field in the Field box, click Field Codes.

Click File > Open. Double-click This PC. Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder that's under My Documents. Click your template, and click Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.

Click the File tab. Click Info. Click the View and edit database properties link at the top of the page. In the Properties dialog box, click the tabs to select the properties that you want to view or update. Click OK. Any changes you made are saved automatically. Click the File tab again to return to your database.

On the right side of the Info screen, click Properties and select Advanced Properties from the drop-down list. A dialog box displays with the file name (without the file extension) on the title bar, showing you information about your document. To access the properties you can change, click the Summary tab.

Click File > Open. Double-click This PC. (In Word 2013, double-click Computer). Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder that's under My Documents. Click your template, and click Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.

To toggle between the field code and its resulting value, select the entire field and press Shift + F9. To toggle all the fields in your document, press Alt + F9. So if you open a document and see field codes instead of results, simply press Alt + F9 to toggle them all.
