I am/We are grateful to the reviewers for their insightful comments on my paper. I/We have been able to incorporate changes to reflect most of the suggestions provided by the reviewers. Track Changes is a feature in Microsoft Word that allows you to keep track of the changes you make to a document or, in this case, the changes an editor makes to your manuscript.When a tracked change is accepted or rejected, the edit is assimilated into the document.

Number your points and refer to page and line numbers in the manuscript when making specific comments. If you have been asked to only comment on specific parts or aspects of the manuscript, you should indicate clearly which these are. Treat the author's work the way you would like your own to be treated.

Avoid overly negative wording or personal comments, point out the main strengths of the manuscript as well as its weaknesses, and suggest specific ways to fix the problems you identify. Also, avoid making overly brief and direct comments, as these can give your report an unfriendly tone.

It should be fine to correct basic grammar, spelling, or typographical errors that the reviewers might have missed out on. You need not use track changes for these corrections.

Just begin with something like this: Thank you for the opportunity to revise my paper. I have commented below on each of the points raised by the referees. Please respond to all of the major points made by the referees. Just saying We have done what the referees asked is insufficient.
