The January LSAT-Flex will occur the week starting Saturday, January 16, 2020. We expect that most test takers will test on either Saturday, January 16, or Sunday, January 17, with a small number of tests occurring later in the week based on specific remote proctoring requirements.

But consider this: the January test may be your bestand lastchance to get the score you need and still apply for admission in the Fall. Virtually every law school will accept scores from this test as you'll see in our survey of the top 100 law school LSAT deadlines.

A score of 145 on the LSAT is a bad score. The median score on the LSAT tends to be about 152which is also considered to be a bad score. Scores in the high 150s and in the 160s can be either good or bad scores depending upon the median score for any particular law school.

Law schools do not average the scores for admission, but we always look at performance if you've taken the test more than once. Ideally, it would be best if every applicant could secure their ideal LSAT score on the first attempt, but that is often not the case. Law schools will report the highest LSAT score.

The LSAT is offered 9 times a year (generally once a month except May, December, and either August or September). You should take the LSAT no later than the summer or fall of the year in which you intend to apply, a full year (or more) before you intend to begin law school.

Canceling Your LSAT Score It depends. Admissions officers understand that bad days can and do happen, and they generally won't look askance at a single score cancellation. Most of them remain agnostic in that situation. However, if you cancel it a second or a third time, at best you start looking like a flake.

Do I really believe I can score higher, or do I just want to score higher? Ultimately, you may be able to take the LSAT for a fourth time and beyond, but the policy change doesn't alter the fact that, barring rare circumstances, you should think carefully why you are doing so."
