Many LSAT takers are unaware of this relatively new option, but you can withdraw your registration for the LSAT until the midnight immediately before the exam.Withdrawals are not reported to schools, and they will never know you were even registered for that exam, so there is no need to address them.

Although schools no longer average LSAT scores, a drop could look bad. In general, however, canceling your score will not look suspicious. Adcoms don't really care about a single cancellation, even if it's after a recorded LSAT score.

While not as good as showing up and rocking the LSAT, an absence will be easily explainable and most likely won't be regarded in a negative light, provided you explain it.

If you schedule an exam time through ProctorU and fail to withdraw your LSAT registration, a designation of Absent will appear on your score report when it is sent to the law school(s) to which you apply.

Canceling Your LSAT Score Before you walk out of your LSAT test, and (as of this writing) for six calendar days afterward, you have the option of canceling your score. While that score won't be reported to law schools, admissions officers will get to see that you took the test and canceled your score.
