Location Columns Log For Free

We can not access GPS data without user consent. Unlike apps like Google Maps, we do not track people permanently, but only when they press a button or send data.

Ocular dominance columns alternate systematically between left eye and right eye dominance. Orientation columns change systematically across orientations (Hubel & Wiesel, 1962). When ocular dominance columns and orientation columns are combined, they form something that Hubel and Wiesel called a hypercolumn.

Orientation columns are organized regions of neurons that are excited by visual line stimuli of varying angles. These columns are located in the primary visual cortex (V1) and span multiple cortical layers.

The Location column is designed to hold both latitude and longitude as a single entity and optionally visualize it on a map. For example: The Location column options are described below.

A cortical column is a group of neurons forming a cylindrical structure through the cerebral cortex of the brain perpendicular to the cortical surface. The structure was first identified by Mountcastle in 1957. He later identified minicolumns as the basic units of the neocortex which were arranged into columns.

To add it, click on the + icon located on the top right of your board and select "More columns". Next select "Location" and you are all set.

Go to and log in to your account. Click the ?+? button in the top right corner of the page. Select ?Map View? from the list of available views. Enter the name of the map view in the ?Name your view? field. Select the board you want to add the map view to from the ?Choose a board? dropdown menu.
