Instagram Highlights turn your ?ephemeral? content (i.e. Stories which are hidden after 24 hours) into permanent content that can always be accessed from your account. When you create a highlight or add a new story to an existing highlight, your friends and followers are in no way notified.

Simply put, the views on your Instagram Highlights are only available for 48 hours, and there's no way you'll know who has viewed it post this time limit. And given that most people add old stories to their Highlights, it's very unlikely that they'll know who's viewing these and when.

Tap your profile photo at the bottom. Select a highlight. Tap Activity. Check the total number of views and a list of your IG Story Highlight viewer.

You have access to users who have seen your Story only during the first 24 hours. Later, no matter if your Story is in Archive or added to highlights, you not only no longer have access to this list, but it's also not updating. It means you can't find out who watched your highlighted Stories.

You can't see who views your Instagram profile, but you can see who views stories and videos. For Instagram stories, you can see exactly who viewed your story while it's still live. For video posts, you can only see the total number of views and users who've liked the posts.

You can check who viewed your Instagram highlights within the first 24 hours of posting and only for the Stories you set as highlights within that period because Instagram doesn't log the views after 24 hours. You can check the view counters and viewer lists within 48 hours.

Click on the circle icon at the top of your profile that represents your Highlights. Select the Highlight you want to check. Swipe up on the screen to see the list of people who viewed your Highlight. You'll be able to see the number of views and a list of the usernames of those who viewed it.
