For years, LinkedIn has offered recommendations as a way to get support from fellow professionals and businesses.When you endorse someone (or someone endorses you), this will show up in your LinkedIn news feed (and spread the word).

Hover over the recommendation that you want to move. Click on the arrow to the right and drag the Recommendation to where you want it. You can rearrange your Recommendations until you are satisfied with the order.

When you give a recommendation, the other person can see it by clicking the Received link in the Recommendations section of their profile. You can see the recommendation by clicking the Given link in the Recommendations section of your own profile. Either one of you can choose to hide the recommendation.

Scroll to the Recommendations section and click the Edit icon in the top right corner. On the Received tab of the pop-up window, locate the recommendation you want to hide or unhide. Switch the toggle to Show or Hide. Click Save.

When someone writes you a recommendation, you'll be notified via a message from the sender on LinkedIn. You can accept, dismiss, or ask for a revision of the recommendation. Note: Recommendations appear in a chronological order and currently can't be reordered.
