A long-term lease, or fixed-term lease, is the most common type of contract, usually set for a minimum of one year.Note that, typically, the shorter the lease, the higher the rent rate.

For example, a residential property lease includes the address of the property, landlord responsibilities, and tenant responsibilities, such as the rent amount, a required security deposit, rent due date, consequences for breach of contract, the duration of the lease, pet policies, and any other essential information.

The lease agreement outlines and details the obligations and responsibilities of the landlord (lessor) and the tenant (lessee). It explains what the landlord and tenant have agreed upon in regards to length of the lease, how much the monthly rent will be, and who will be responsible for upkeep of the property.

Put the cursor in the footer of page 3, go to the tab Insert and click on the button Page Number. By default, MS Word inserts page number 3. Click on Format Page Numbers in the drop-down menu of the button Page Number. Choose Start at and insert the page number you want to start at.
