Individual Monograms For women, a three letter monogram is styled with the last initial placed large in the center, and the first and middle (or maiden) initials on either side, slightly smaller. For men, the initials are placed in order (first, middle, last) all the same size.

If the monogram is for a married woman, it has been traditional to substitute her maiden name initial for her middle name initial on the right.

When initializing a name, we must include both the first and last names together. Usually, we don't include a middle name, but if you already include your middle name in your full name, your initials should be three letters long.
