Create drop down list but show different value in drop down list cell. Create a range name for the cell values you want to use in the drop down list, in this example, I will enter the name dropdown in the Name Box, and then press Enter key, see screenshot:

To hide columns or rows, select the columns or rows, right-click them, and click Hide. To unhide them, select the column or row on one side of the hidden columns or rows, drag your mouse to the other side, right-click, and click Unhide. First, create your drop down list with Yes and No which you need. Then press Alt + F11 to open the Microsoft Visual Basic for Application window. Double click the current open sheet name in the VBAProject section to open the Code editor.

Select the cell with the drop-down list. If you have multiple cells with drop-down lists that you want to delete, you can use Ctrl+Left click to select them. Click Data >Data Validation. On the Settings tab, click Clear All. Click OK.
