Submit Transcripts (Current/Former FIT students need not request academic transcripts from FIT; these will be supplied by internal procedures.) It is strongly recommended that official transcripts (US institutions only) be sent electronically to gradadmissions@fitnyc.edu.

Mailed to New York University, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, 383 Lafayette Street, New York, NY 10003, USA. All mailed transcripts and other proof of graduation documents, however, should bear an official stamp and signature and be mailed from a student's school in a sealed envelope.

Test scores, letters of recommendation and transcripts can arrive shortly after the application deadline, but your application will not be reviewed until it is complete.

You should create and upload a PDF of the transcript issued to you by the registrar at your institution. If the transcript is issued to you in a sealed envelope, it is acceptable for you to open it for the purpose of uploading.

Mailed transcripts must be in an official envelope from the school with the seal and any other security feature in tact. The transcript can be mailed by the school or the applicant and is considered official as long as the envelope has not been opened.

Do not send transcripts at the time of application. After you submit your application, be prepared to send these copies to the admissions office at each campus to which you have applied, only upon their request. Official transcripts will be required at the campus you elect to attend.

What's a High School Transcript? Your name, address, and date of birth. The name of your school. The courses you've taken and when you took them. Your grades for each grading period. The weight of each grade (grades in higher-level courses like AP are often worth more than the same grade in a standard course)
