Footers are located in the margin area at the bottom of a page. Headers and footers generally contain document information, such as the file name, author, date created, page numbering and the like. Make sure that either the Hidden Text check box or the Show All Formatting Marks check box is selected. Either of these settings will make sure the hidden text appears on-screen. In the Printing Options section, make sure the Print Hidden Text check box is cleared.
