In United States education, a transcript is a copy of a student's permanent academic record, which usually means all courses taken, all grades received, all honors received and degrees conferred to a student from the first day of school to the current school year.

You should create and upload a PDF of the transcript issued to you by the registrar at your institution. If the transcript is issued to you in a sealed envelope, it is acceptable for you to open it for the purpose of uploading.

A current official transcript is an official transcript requested before you graduate. A final official transcript is requested after you graduate or exit Sentinel high school. ALL SENIORS GOING TO COLLEGE MUST REQUEST A FINAL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT TO BE GIVEN TO THE COLLEGE THEY WILL BE ATTENDING.

You can't personally provide the transcript because it must be an ?official transcript? received directly from your high school. If a college does accept unofficial transcripts, you can request one from your guidance counselor and send it yourself.

Do not send transcripts at the time of application. After you submit your application, be prepared to send these copies to the admissions office at each campus to which you have applied, only upon their request. Official transcripts will be required at the campus you elect to attend.

We define a final official transcript as a transcript received directly from the issuing institution (whether on paper and still in the envelope or a certified electronic copy) that is properly signed/authenticated.

Colleges expect the part of the application that comes from YOU to arrive by the deadline (and this includes financial aid forms, too, when required). But if a part that comes from elsewhere (counselor forms, transcript, teacher recommendations, test scores) shows up a bit late, it will not be a problem for you.
