If the Station ID has already been programmed, the LCD will ask you to press 1 to make a change or 2 to exit without changing. Enter your fax number (up to 20 digits) and press OK. Enter your telephone number (up to 20 digits) and press OK. Use the dial pad to enter your name (up to 20 characters) and press OK.

For reading convenience, a fax number may contain any characters, such as hyphens, parentheses etc. Any non-digit character is ignored, with the exception of a plus sign, which is used as a generic International Access Code. Fax numbers that contain brackets needs to be written as quoted string, see examples below.

Fax numbers are localized to specific regions where you want to send or receive fax documents. For example, if you do business in area code 555, your fax number will begin with 555 and be followed by the standard seven digits of a phone number, so a fax number example would be 555-123-4567.

If it is to a business or organization, use the name of the business or organization after the "To." On the next line you can use "Attn:" followed by a person's name if the fax needs to go to a specific person within the business or organization.

From the computer, click on Start > All Programs > Xerox Office Printing >WorkCentre 6605. In the left navigation pane, under Printer Address Book, click Email. Click New Entry. For Name, enter the name to appear in the Address Book.

Recipient Information You may want to title the section "To" or "Recipient." Then, on separate lines, type either "Company" or the specific company information, "Attention:" or the name of the intended recipient, "Phone," or phone number of the recipient, and "Fax" or fax number of the recipient.
